Installation Instructions:  
   
Signature fonts are simple to install. Click the link below to learn how to install them on your operating system.
 
 

Using your signature font is even simpler.  Click here for instructions on using your signature font. 

 
To install your font: For Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP
   
  1. Open Control Panel (i.e. Click Start button, point to settings, and click  "Control Panel"
  2. .Select Fonts from Control Panel (double click on fonts icon)
  3. From the File menu choose "Install New Font" (XP users will need to select the "Appearance and Themes" category first)
  4. Choose the drive and folder that contains the signature font that you downloaded (sample.ttf)
  5. The Signature Font will be listed in the box titled List of Fonts. Click it   and then click OK. Your font will be installed.
 
  For Windows 3.1, 3.11, NT 3.51
   
  1. Open Control Panel (i.e. Double click on "Control Panel" from main program group).
  2. Select Fonts from Control Panel (double click on fonts icon)
  3. Click Add
  4. Choose the drive and directory that contains the signature font that you downloaded (sample.ttf)
  5. The Signature Font will be listed in the box titled List of Fonts. Click it and then click OK. Your font will be installed.
 
  For Macintosh System 7 (all versions, 7.0 through Mac OS 7.6.1 and to Mac OS 8)
   
  1. Convert the sample font (sample.ttf) to Mac format using TTConverter
  2. Drag the converted sample font to the System Folder. A dialog box will appear asking you to confirm the action. Click OK.
     
  For All Other Operating Systems
   
  1. Consult your operating systems documentation, and follow its instructions to install sample.ttf. Contact us at signaturefactory@signaturefactory.com if you experience any problems.
   
To use your new font:
  1. In the program you wish to utilize the signature, simply select the signature font named "Signature-name" - just as you would select any other font such as Arial, or Times New Roman.
  2. Press the uppercase letter 'S' (capital S).
  3. Remember you can change the size of your signature by simply changing the font size, just as you would do for any other font. Try starting out with a point size of around 28. A point size of 72 will give a signature that is approximately one inch high.
